I enjoy balayage of all types, custom blonding, and long precisely layered cuts. I’ve been a hairstylist for 13 years, with 7 of them as an independent stylist I enjoy meaningful relationship building with my clients and genuinely enjoy their company. I’ve taken several balayage classes in Southern California.
I’ve been doing fitness competitions on and off for over 10 years, otherwise I enjoy quiet time journaling, collecting heart shaped rocks among outdoor adventures, and love seaglass hunting along the Maine coast. I also love to travel near and far, usually for short periods so I can quickly return to my chair. (Many short adventures> fewer long ones). Hoping to get to Europe soon!

I’m bringing my learnings from time spent in the Boston and NYC fashion and beauty scene back home to Maine.
My goal is to bring you a hand tailored elevated experience, and provide beautiful, glamorous hair for everyday.
When I’m not working, I’m typically at home with my partner Shawn and our pets Carl and Hope where we spend a lot of our time renovating our home, collecting rare tropical plants, and just enjoying life with each other and those we care about.

Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved being creative and anything in the beauty industry. With my years of involvement in the salon, on magazine shoot sets, with conference panelists, and in wedding styles, I am confident in my wide variety of hair textures I’ve gotten to experience.

Hey, I’m Margaret! I specialize in creating customized haircuts for all textures, lengths, and styles. My goal is always to design something that feels truly you whether that’s based on your face shape, lifestyle, or how you like to wear your hair day-to-day.
I’ve spent years refining my craft through advanced training and education, including time in Paris learning specialized razor cutting techniques. Along the way, I’ve worked closely with professional brands and continue to stay inspired by evolving trends and techniques. I’ve also been featured in Bold Journey magazine and host a podcast, Reality Behind The Chair, where I connect with industry professionals and their stories.
What I love most about what I do is the connection I build with my guests. Helping someone feel confident and beautiful in their hair is what makes it all so meaningful to me. When I’m not in the salon, you’ll probably find me at the beach, traveling, doing yoga, or spending time with friends and family.
